The
Weather Channel's aptly named
When Weather Changed History drew the most viewers of any launch ever on the network when it debuted January 6. The first HD produced series on
The Weather Channel, increased viewers by about 27% with its debut episode, focusing on the Challenger shuttle explosion. Airing every Sunday at 9 p.m., HD footage is giving people a reason to stay on TWC to watch for other reasons than seeing some poor guy with a mic getting almost blown away in a hurricane.

I can not wait for The Weather Channel HD to be added to our cable system.

All of these I've seen already Air Amergency on NGC and Seconds from Disaster on HIS.
Maybe in the next 10 years they can be original. I can't wait for the premiere of "When History Changed Weather" hosted by Al Gore.

I saw the one for the Challenger on SD, and it was great. I think there's another one I've missed. I hope TWC puts out more.
