$8,999 for a pair of speakers? Thats more than I spent for my entire Home Theater. HD Projector, 1kW 5.1 Surround Sound, Toshiba HD-A30 HD-DVD, PS3, FiOS HD DVR.Heck, $9k was the down payment for my first house!
Doesn't the open design partly defeat the point of buying speakers? Isn't this more about looks than actual sound quality?
