Frankly I'll make better use out of my SkyHD with dual DVR's, pay per view for movies and a Blu-ray player for watching the things I really want to watch with top quality sound and picture.
hmm, I suppose I can see a handful of situations where it would be good, for example watching with friends and you want to see a new release but can't be arsed to go to the store to buy or rent or you don't want to order online... oh and assuming the release isn't playing on the HD movie channels. Otherwise it's a small step over DVD for anything other than watching paint dry. (i.e. motion artifacts due to bandwidth starvation)
