OK, and anybody is still buying porn on optical media? With the abundance of free/pay per download porn on the internet the decisive factor is of course way different than in the VHS days where VHS was about the only source to get it.
@Ted: Eh, did you actually check the internet? Many providers provide HD downloads (or should I be ashamed now for knowing?), on Bittorrent its HD porn galore. And because more and more people give preference to shorter clips instead of a full movie length for their porn, also more and more people have the bandwidth to be easily able to download it. OK, if you live in a high bandwidth deprived area AND like full movielength, you might consider optical discs. But that will not a market big enough to decide this format war.

If people want to see their porn in high-def, discs are pretty much the only practical option for the time being.
