Just a few weeks back, we gave you the opportunity to tell us what you were most
looking forward to in 2008. Now that CES has come and gone once more, we're interested to know what you were most impressed by. 'Course, we took the liberty of
rounding up a few
favorites of our
own, but don't be shy in dishing out a few dark horses, either. Oh, and before you ask, you certainly can have more than one favorite -- shout it / them out in comments below!

That 150" plasma is out of control. I figured it would fill the entire wall of my living room, which is fine by me. You can finally have a movie theater sized screen at home without needing front projection. A bit out of most people's price range I imagine though.

No love for the first BD Profile 2.0 (BD-Live) stand alone player? Panny DMP-BD50K is the ticket!

Auzentech hdmi xtension for the pc. Allows you to combine the video/audio and output via hdmi. Also has support for the hd sound codecs.

The DirecTV Media Center tuner

I'm going to have to agree with Big Sam. The DirecTV Media Center tuner box is something I've been hoping to see for some time. The Pioneer Kruo however, is also very nice, the pinnacle of just about everything I want in a flat panel, barring one or two things.

For an OTA guy like me, the Echostar TR-50 OTA HD DVR is what I'm waiting for.

jango fett @ Jan 14th 2008 2:43AM
i think this polls are biased. most of the time ive seen the first option is the one that gets voted the most.

Where's the Laser DLP and LED DLP love?
That would have been my vote had it been on the list.
To hell with the flat screens...unless of course they can offer what RPTV is offering at a similar price.
