I guess I'm lucky I don't have an HDMI receiver yet. :�) I have a 5000 and so far I've only used SPDIF to connect. It does everything I expect so far. However, I'll be pretty pissed if audio bitstreaming isn't fixed by the time I upgrade my receiver. I think I'll do that in May when the audio will supposedly be fixed.

I agree with Dan though, Samsung needs to state their audio plans soon or a lot of people are going to return their 5000's.
