I love my 42" Panny Plasma. I just hate that I paid 2.5x as much for it 18 months ago than the people who just got theirs. Se la vi. It is funny though, my friends who don't own an HDTV keep talking about the LCDs that they are planning on buying, and they look at me funny when I talk about the black levels and the fast motion movie scenes and sports where plasma (generally) has the advantage. Granted 120mhz LCD does a lot to offset the later, but those are still really expensive. But I agree with Ryan P's point. It has never been LCD vs. Plasma. The two can co-exist, as can other technologies. I've yet to find media that will play on one, but not the other. As much as there is a 'battle' between the two techs, it is for the investment dollar of the manufacturers.

I think you mean, "C'est la vie!"
Close enough.
