DLP is finding new life with the latest advances in illumination technology. We've already seen LED backlights, and now the technology is taking a page from the LCD world. Say "hello" to 240Hz display mode DLPs, with a 100% increase in motion reproduction -- diminishing returns for Hz increases, indeed. Working with LED manufacturer Luminous has produced contrast ratios of 500,000:1. But the ride doesn't stop there, as demonstrated by Mitsubishi's
laser HDTV with a DLP heart. We'll be checking that one out, so stay tuned for the details.

bring on the Laser TV! We've been hearing about that for so long...and it's not supposed to be very complex...get it to market soon!!
Isn't LaserTV supposed to result in rear projection models that are only like 4" thick?

They even have a fresh round of new TV spots with the little girl who still can't say "mirrors."

So being a guy that's still a big fan of rear-projection TVs, I wonder if I should:
a) Get one of the Sony SXRD before they're gone.
b) Pickup a LED-based DLP.
c) Wait on a laser TV?
Any thoughts?
