Logitech launches Harmony One
Looks like Harmony is listening to users -- witness the Harmony One's revised layout. Centrally-located transport controls and good separation on the numeric inputs go a long way to addressing our gripes. They're touting the "same one-touch, activity-based control" as existing models, so no telling if the programming side of the house has been revamped. We're hoping they take the one-size fits all wizard approach and make tweaks and adjustments a little more easily accessible. Control freaks and those who make a habit of shuffling their gear (sound like anyone familiar?) would really appreciate a more direct way to tweak out their remotes!

Looks interesting. I finally figured out how to program discrete codes for my TV into my Harmony. What a pain.

Looks like it might be more friendly to hold than my 880.

same stupid programming system, so easy a caveman could do it...

I hope it's not just me but I am a freak when it comes to customizing. Logitech has promised for years that you'll be able to change icons/fonts/styles... soon. Is it "soon" yet? I know its a small thing but i would love to change some icons... its kinda wierd to have the same icon for my xbox/ps3/wii.

Bluetooth support for my PS3 please! Then I'll be happy to buy a new remote to replace my 880!

Try checking for the now-available IR kits for ps3. The IR codes are in most of the public databases now, and that will happen MUCH sooner than any of these remotes will support bluetooth. In fact, you'll probably turn your face way cooler shades than blue before any theater remote supports bluetooth...just a shot in the dark...

I love the form factor and screen but it doesn't have the same features as my Harmony 890 Pro remote. I hope they release a version that supports Z-wave for my setup.

"The product has received the CES 2008 Design and Engineering Award: Best of Innovations in Home-Entertainment Accessories".
.....That's impressive considering CES 2008 hasn't even started yet.

No bluetooth? No sale.
