Not so long ago it was said to be just Universal against everyone else.
Of course none of this is good news for HD DVD, I'm not spinning anything.
Warner chose the bigger pay-off, that's all, sh*t happens.
Sadly the consumer will end up (unless huge changes take place in the Blu-ray approach) getting shafted.
If the consumer keeps on doing what they have been doing (going for HD TV DVR set-top boxes, upscaling regular DVD and downloads) then this could well be a very phyrric victory for Blu-ray.
