I have stayed in the five star hotels in Chennai. While they do have nice 32 to 42 inch HDTVs, there's no programming that's HD. So, its all set to "Stretch-o-rama" and that defeats that purpose of having a HDTV other than to claim that they have one!

Yeah...I stayed at a hotel in St. Maarten with a 37" HD LCD in the room...but no HDTV service.

I was in India two years ago at the, http://www.tajhotels.com/, I stayed in a couple different ones. Both had 65" LG plasmas on the wall.

Best hotels I've ever stayed at anywhere in the world were the Taj and Meridian hotels in Bombay. Freaking amazing. Fastest wireless Internet anywhere in a hotel too. If India weren't so depressing a place to be, I'd go there on vacation and stay in those amazing hotels again!
