They're doing three BRD presses just to get one disc out?<br><br>From a purely business standpoint, I'd be tempted to say screw them, we'll run a new batch next month, and you can get your's replaced then. Anything less and one could argue HD DVD is making a comeback.<br><br>If someone could find that answer I'd appreciate it. Sorry but that is a loss plain and simple.<br><br>Since there are a at least 5 times as many blu-ray players as HD-DVD players you need to wait a few months before those numbers actually mean anything.<br><br>If every HD-DVD owner bought the set day 1...and only 1/5th of the blu-ray owners bought it day one...does that say HD is winning?  What if another 1/5th buy it the next week? Read it and move on. These will be discs with the artwork, seeing as how they always order more of the same discs than go into the box sets (epecially since this was obviously not a Warner screwup, the discs that go into those sets are SOMEWHERE). And, it's direct distribute so warner never sees the finished product (only prototype samples if that, sometimes just send over the disc image and electronic artwork), it gets sent straight from the replication facility to the wholesale distributors.<br><br>Once the contracted number of final units are produced, all surplus disc prints and packaging (of which there is very little) is recycled immediately.
