Everyone assumes that the add-on is only purchased by Xbox owners. I think that is a faulty assumption. I bought one some time ago and connected it to my HTPC. I do not have an xbox. It's really the only HD-DVD drive widely available that works with a PC.
No matter how you spin it, the add-on is definitely being used to watch HD-DVD movies, either connected to an xbox or a HTPC, so these numbers are valid in terms of the format. Just don't assume *only* Xbox owners bought them.
