This is awesome. I can't wait. I have a 52" lcd which I sit about 9 ft from on my couch and I use it as a computer monitor. It's still a little to small. I still have to stand up to read some things. For that distance a 57" is what i really needed, but at that size, 1080p just wasn't good enough. The picture just didn't look good on a 57".
If you eventually want a 65" ( which I do ) this type of resolution is a must.
