Good for them, too bad it took so long after the first initial reports.
Anyone remember just how bad some DVD releases were in the early years. Non-anamorphic and just some pure crap transfers. The original Tombstone comes to mind since I liked the movie and watched it a lot. It looked alright on my 27" non-HD set, but once I got my 55" HD set, I couldn't watch it anymore. That 55" set made a lot of my DVDs unwatchable, I welcome HDM with open arms due to that.

The american persident widescreen DVD has a 25" diagonal on my 50" pdp. It's letterboxed AND pillarboxed. pure crap.
