@Devils Advocate, Lets not forget that there was yet again another BOGO going in the blu-ray camp! Slashed prices always equal more sales, and as long as blu-ray keeps taking all these losses with BOGO's to match HD DVD's big releases, they will continue to pull in big nielson numbers.. perhaps HD DVD should take a lesson from it and combat with some BOGO's of their own and you'll see a HD DVD win on the Nielsons, guaranteed!
@Kris Wait for the top ten titles before you start crying about the BOGO in the blu-ray camp. It is my guess that maybe one of the BOGO movies even makes that list which is where the majority of the sales come from. And the "losses" on BOGO movies is not really a loss at all. This is basically a half price deal and the studio is probably losing a chunk of revenue and the retailer is taking a small hit, but no one is taking a loss. The loss Toshiba is taking on $99 and $198 players seems more substantial.

Excuses. Excuses. Thats all the HD-DVD camp can do. "If we do this we win" If thats what it takes. THEN WIN.
Also, amazon was the only place doing bogo, not BB or CC.
Do something to WIN. I do agree that that the HD-DVD ads have been pretty good.
