1) ALL Xbox360 HD DVD add-ons are used to play HD DVD discs, period. 2) NOT ALL PS3s are used to play Blu-ray movies. 3) Only 40% of PS3 owners actually know the PS3 has a Blu-ray player in it. 4) Not all of those 40% buy Blu-ray movies, or have an HDTV.
If you look at the attach rates, it appears that less that 10% of PS3 owners have bought Blu-ray movies at any point.

Yep, just like the blu-ray player figures don't include the 5-6 million PS3's in peoples homes.

Except that all those X360 HD-DVD addons are to play HD-DVD, while not all PS3's are used to play BD.

There are not that many PS3 sold in the US...they are barely over 2 mil...don't make things up.

Difference: PS3 can bought to play games, sort of. 360 add-on is solely to play movies.
