The last time writing contracts came up things like DVD and online downloads didn't exist. the writers want a little money or residuals on these things (like 4 cents a dvd, and less per download - not much at all) but the studios say these don't count as re-airings, but as promotions and therefor the writers shouldn't get any residuals.
also - writers of online material for shows like ARGs and websites don't get paid any extra.
