Too bad most people don't care about the picture quality and would buy panels that are a bargain pr overpriced crap like ALL LCD panels.<br><br>I hope Pio continues to improve on their already amazing Kuro plasmas. Kuros are the true step up above CRT. I play xbox on my plasma every day and still have an amazing picture...<br><br>It sucks though because the Pioneer Plasy is so beautiful... They make amazing products... But what other people care about has nothing to do with what you care about.<br><br>And the last time I checked, most of the people buying the low-end products are mainstream consumers and not those looking for the best picture quality, but the best picture quality they can afford. Also, a lot of these entry-level products are being bought by those replacing family room boob-tubes.<br><br>As an 'HDpuris' I am surprised you would even consider a flat-panel over a completely controlled environment using CRT projection. How pure can you be if you are basing your setup on something that has to try to block light constantly being generated when it isn't called for?<br><br>Then again, maybe Pioneer is losing their customers of wealth because those customers now realize they can buy three flat panels for the price of one Pioneer flat panel. Pio Kuro PDPs are the best TV sets of any kind, period.
