I bought a first generation Toshiba DVD player way back when and it still works perfectly to this day. So saying it was unfinished may be a bit of stretch.

I do have one big problem with all of the HD DVD/Blu Ray posts on this site. Everyone from both camps, with the exception of h4Idol, seems to know their stuff and are somewhat informed. It also seems that everyone is making extremely high-tech comparisons between the two formats. While that is a good thing, it leads me believe that a fair amount of people here have pretty expensive setups (i.e. 1080p HDTVs, 7.1 surround sound setups, etc.). If that is the case, the people with these setups will easily be able to afford to buy the "other" format if their "team" loses.

The whole point is to be able to enjoy movies in high definition.
