Maybe it's different because they're giving away not only 5 free HD DVDs by mail, but copies of King Kong and Heroes on top of it. That's what makes it different from the 5 free BD promo and makes the HD DVD camp looks desperate.

So let me get this straight.. 5 free movies is ok, but 7 is just desperate? So what does that make the 7 free Blu-Ray movie deal then? Cuz by your own reasoning that would be desperation on the Blu-Ray camps part..
