Even though this might be a Chinese or whatever company, I'm very impressed with the specs of these machines. Sure these companies have an option of Blu-Ray too, but the large number of their pre-built laptops come with HD DVD. So I'm not sure what you are saying that this one company is making HD DVDs in their laptops standard.

Even Sony is not making Blu-Ray drives in their laptops standard.
