Agreed. This was a "neato" feature when DVD first came out to add to the "wow" factor. But imho, like you, I think it has run its course. There are few films that have actually taken advantage of the special features. Lord of the Rings and The Matrix are the only two that I was really impressed with. If it is something that must be done out of precedence at this point, then our community at least, would I'm sure appreciate edition that do away with this nonsense and use the room to put 1+ films on the same disc or a less compressed file.
