actually I think it is nice to have a $1000+ disc player that plays BD, HDDVD, DVDs, MP3 discs, and ohhhh CDs.

1st gen BD and HD DVD players played CDs, Mp3, and DVD discs, so it is pretty damn foolish to have an ELITE deck that cannot. Considering BD decks were almost the same price.....ummm nice work. So will this play CDs???

Why are you saying that the BDP-95FD cannot play CDs? The BDP-94HD can, go check the specs:

So it would be only normal that the BDP-95FD plays them too.
