Last year Fox made a major splash in the Blu-ray market with its lineup of feature-laden titles, now its announced more details on the
special features to expect on
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and
Live Free or Die Hard. Both of these MPEG-4 encoded flicks will release on 50GB dual-layer discs with DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio soundtracks, D-Box motion support and
BD-J powered strategy games. What isn't there, is any kind of
BD-Live internet functionality, but it looks like we'll be waiting to take our Blu-ray discs and players online just a bit longer.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is due October 2, while the fourth Die Hard will release November 20th, alongside the Blu-ray box set of the first three movies in the series.

I believe you can already buy Fantastic Four on HD DVD out of the US that plays just fine on US HD DVD players since they have NO Region Encoding along with a great many other so called Blu-Ray only releases. Anyone in the HD DVD camp that want it in HD, there's are options.
I thought DH4 was pretty good when I saw it. I might get it on DVD as I have the others on DVD also.

Uhhh, you can get it on Blu-ray as well.
This article is talking about Rise of the Silver Surfer....the second movie in the series. You can't get that on HD DVD, now can you?

i just like how they tell us about this. They told us about Cars. However I have yet to hear about Transformers release date and specs from this site as well as any other HD-Dvd movies. Way to be fair... way to be fair.
