Ohh my, we can hardly wait! Football season kicks off tomorrow -- no, the real games are on now, no more practice. It's going to be more difficult than ever before for us to get off the couch and go outside because the number of games getting the HD treatment is so much more than ever before. It was only a year ago that
we were excited because the opening weekend to NCAA Div-1A football brought us 13 HD games, but this year there are almost double that, with a total of 22 HD games from the kickoff Thursday, to the Bowden Bowl on Monday night. Unfortunately, for die hard fans there are more games than you can possibly watch -- but that's a good thing right? -- assuming you can even access all the games, 'cause some are regional, while others are
on channels that your provider might not offer. Regardless, sit back and enjoy, as we look forward to the big boys kicking off the NFL in another week, and if you need to know if your big game is on in HD, head over to HDSportsguide.com for the full lineup.

You forgot to mention the game that is going to be featured tomorrow night on ESPN. The game is LSU vs. Mississippi St. @ Mississippi st. Should be a one hell of a game as it is the first game for the #2 ranked Tigers and also an SEC conference game. First game or not doesn't matter as in College ALL games matter.

i hope this includes most of the ACC and SEC games. the hardest hitting divisions by far. my fingers are crossed. the only game with two ranking teams this weekend is Cali and Tenn. i am ready for football. my first season with my 57" Mitsubishi HDTV 1080p which is useless for broadcast but 1080i will do.

SEC maybe, but the ACC? Come on. Let Florida State play in the Big Ten for a season, and then see where they'd rather be.
Let's Go Hawkeyes!!

Football is made for HD. Once you watch a game in HD you are spoiled and hate watching any games in SD. The more games in HD the better. Bring them on!
