Now this is getting interesting !! especially what the forum admin mentioned below:

Bay: Forgot to ask...

Is it possible that Spielberg could get Transformers released on both HD DVD and Blu-ray? Paramount/DreamWorks are exclusive to HD DVD except for Spielberg-directed films. His movies will continue to be released on both formats. Do you think he could get this film released on both since he produced it?

One can hope. Let's find out how strong the Spielberg card is.
