The only discs that cost more are Warner Combo discs. I think Warner is losing out on the HD DVD side because of the higher price of these discs. Every other movie you can find them for equal price. I assume the HD DVD studios are making more per movie, because it IS cheaper to manufacture and produce HD DVD than Blu-ray. Personally I can't wait until the combo players drop in price, than I won't have to worry about a format.
well said. i can't stand the combo discs. much too pricey. i actually prefer HD-DVD of blu-ray, and i'd have more HD-DVDs in my collection, but those damn combo discs just ruin it for me. so, when the options are combo disc, or blu-ray, i'm going to choose blu-ray every time.
