Totally with you man. I'll be in line right with you when they announce the office in HD. It's about time these studios started to release shows in HD DVD. With Star Trek and BG, they can go for a good amount of people. Throw in The Office and other shows, and they could potentially put a dent in Blu Ray, at least for a while. Everyone keeps talking about DVD player sales. The player sales don't mean anything if people aren't buying the DVDs to go along with them. I could afford to add HD DVD to my setup - but it just isn't worth it to me just to get Universal's content. They have a few things I like, but not enough to justify investing in another format. Sometimes one side has a better bargain/extras for the same title, 300 was just one-sided with all the extras on HD DVD instead Blu Ray.
