I can't think of anything that makes me more happy then the current bloated state of azureus or "Vuze". This is the a perfect example of open source failing, the fact that utorrent is running on my computer right now at only 12 megs ram while Azureus would be sucking up 10 times as much ram while chewing away at my cpu is very satisfying.
Apparently 7 million people would hesitate to call it a failure...
I'm still using utorrent because yes, azureus is bloated, but it would be nice to not ever see another warning email from my ISP, despite the fact that torrenting Entourage should be legal under "fair use" if you're an HBO subscriber.
Competition is good for the consumer. If I can get high def programming from my ISP (without killing the ratio on my private tracker), then I'll happily say goodbye to my cable bill...
