Phoenix Suns to broadcast entire 2007-2008 schedule in high definition
The Phoenix Suns organization has taken the impressive step of announcing it is the first NBA team to broadcast its entire regular season scheduled in high definition. That's right, every game with two-time MVP Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire and Shawn Marion in HD. It certainly makes sense that with the investment in that core group of stars, and a streak of 71 sellouts at home, that the team should make sure Suns fans get a good look on TV as well, but its still frustrating that we can't get the same commitment this year for a 16-game NFL season. If the local team doesn't step up its broadcast capabilities, we can see people trading in #1 jerseys for #720p and #1080i.[Thanks, TMD]

They are not the first. The New Jersey Nets will be in HD all year on YES Network. They announced it back in April.

I'm surprised Mark Cuban hasn't stepped up the plate. Come on Mr. HDNet, how about making sure all your Mavericks games are in HD

So if you have Dish you will no get all games in HD? OR only all HD if local in AZ on FNS and UPN?

The NBA is dead to me after last years playoff fiasco and the crooked ref scandal.
I bought my Samsung LCD mostly for watching sports, but unless Stern and his entire staff steps down I wont be paying any attention to "professional" basketball any time soon.
