Your comment is deceptive. You state that your 12 friends do not watch Blue Ray movies with their PS3s. Do they use the PS3s to watch DVD movies? Not all Blue Ray or HD DVD owners buy HD movies. I own and watch many more DVD movies than I do Blue Ray movies on my two Blue Ray players.

They buy DVDs, not Blu-ray movies. As far as I know, they couldn't care less about high def. Half of them use it on a regular TV!
