Fans of cutting edge electronics are usually used to dealing with
delays, disappointments and broken promises, but this time it looks like Sony and Samsung are delivering
their latest LCD plant well ahead of schedule. The
eighth generation facility designed to mass produce the 52-inch HDTVs we love so much should be able to produce as many as 50,000 panels per month starting in July. Samsung is
still predicting steep drops in the price of LCDs, with the president seeing the cost of the 52-inch panel lowered to $1,000 by the end of next year.

Hey Where can I get offical information on the future $1,000.00 52" Samsung. I'm poised to spend $3,300.00 on the Sony KDL-BR3 next month. I would hate to lay out $2,300.00 more than I have to.
Are there any owners of Sony BR2 or BR3 LCd's out there? If, so please let me know what you like and dislike about this product,
