DLP is limited to 2K, the projectors out there (Christie, Barco, NEC) are all 2K projectors.  The only 4K projector is the Sony which is SXRD (nee LCOS) based, not DLP.  <br><br>To Aaron Lucas.  The Sony projector is only 2000:1 contrast (measured less than that calibrated) and it is not very bright, its rated aggresively for 40ft screens which is not nearly big enough for true cinema applications.
