I swear, companies have 3/4th's of a brain when it comes to this crap. If I had money, I'd be marketing this...
1080p set-up box w/ optional HDD -USB Ports for HDD storage -Gigabit Network: DLNA for the computer retarded - SMB for the computer nerds - Video Codecs supported: Divx 4/5/6/HD /H.264/X264 MKV/Mpeg2TS/etc - (basically use the mplayer engine similar to XBMC). - Audio Codecs supported: DTS/DD 5.1/2-channel - HDMI - Optical Toslink (for DTS)
$349 WHY AREN'T COMPANIES DOING THIS!?!?!?!? They're always so close, but then they decide, nah, no HDMI... or nah, no ethernet, so on and so forth... pisses me off!
