Check wikipedia. There are over 5,000 blockbuster locations, and only around 1500 are going to be "exclusively" supporting blu-ray. That's hardly the death knell that the original article would suggest.

True, but it's another member of the video industry backing Blu-Ray. The more sales and greater industry support will compel even more members of the industry to back Blu-Ray. It'll continue in that cycle until Blu-Ray becomes the winner.
