I guess this is good and all - but jeez, does anybody remember the days when we felt like we didn't have to worry about firmware upgrades, specific TV brand to device capability, advanced testing, and heavy calibration to enjoy "the best" picture?
The PS3, etc would naturally be much more attractive to me without all the "over-head" worrying required to know if it is fully functional, future proof, or outputing at max capability.
