It seems that opening every Scamcast billing statement is nothing but a big "bend over and grab your ankles" scenario. Man, I can't wait for Verizon to offer IPTV later this year!

John B

Comments on

I'm so tired of Comcrap it's not even funny.. When we transitioned from Adelphia (never an issue) to Comcrap out bills went up, we lost HD content, and our HSI speeds went down yet our prices stayed the same! I'm honestly fed up with Comcast, if I could go Verizon FiOS I would but that aint happening anytime soon as we have ATT/BS as the local telco.. So at best I have Uverse, single channel DVR, and Xtremely bad DSL to look forward to. I wanna move. :(

JohnDoe303

Comments on

So your bills went up but the prices stayed the same? j/k I get your point.

Big Sam

Comments on

Yeah what happened service was was that they raised prices 2%.. Our area (South Florida) always had great prices in comparison to other Adel customer but I guess they were too good. As for the internet they lowered our caps and charged the same without notice. I had an Adel 6/756 account with scored me a true 7.2/880 connection, with Comcast it became 5.8/680 but I was still paying. Then after 2 months of that Comcast brought in their 8/756 tier. Those of us still paying premier prices got the switch fore free BUT we had to call in to make it happen. I've yet to get anything announcing the new tiers availability. When it comes to customer service I won't even get started.. It's a joke. Plus they closed the two local branches! So when the billing changedo ver I had the option of driving two cities North or South to pay my bills myself. I won't even get into how long the lines were. Oh and then there's the crap they're pulling with my HOA.. We had a contract with Adel and they're trying to get out of it.. If they can't they're going to remove content to our neighborhood. I could go on forever but in the end I'm still screwed.. With ATT doing what they're famous for (crap) and Verizon no-where to be found I'm out of HSI luck.

JohnDoe303

Comments on

Blame all the yahoos who demanded the bad, expensive technology be imposed on cable companies.

Brian

Comments on

Oh please! This is just another excuse for Comcast to raise rates. Does it really take much for them to do it?

"It's rainning out, oh we better raise rates... because... the cable trucks will get wet... and the... cable guy will have to walk 3 feet with equipment that will get wet. Yeah, that's it. So everybody pay-up."

c.Lake

Comments on

Called Crapcast the other day, my girlfriend has free HOA basic; but leases a HD Box and subscribes to HD channels. The bill was usually $15+, now it is $29+. I asked the girl on the phone to ask the CEO of Crapcast what they paid government officials to get that kind of raise. I would have bought out Adelephia if I could raise prices almost 50%. You can get satellite, but it like choosing between "the devil or deep blue sea".

robo282
