As for HD, by then we should be getting Sci Fi Channel in HD on DirecTV. Technically the two hour movie in the fall IS NOT a season 4 premiere but it is being used to set up bits for Season 4. I'd buy the HD DVDs, but its quite an investment for a format I don't feel will win out. Hopefully Universal will come to their senses and put these on Blu-ray as well.
