Odd how they forget to mention that the pre-orders for Planet Earth HDDVD outstrip those for the BD version.

The 1st quarter numbers were impacted by the HDDVD stand-down until the players could be updated to replace the leaked copy protection keys. Hardly any HDDVDs were issued in Q1, so it's a really bad comparison.

Q2 and Q3 will tell the tale, but one wonders why Sony needs to keep claiming victory. It's not over 'til it's over.
