Blu-Ray has only outsold HD-DVD recently when the "stars aligned" with the launch of the PS3 and a BlockBuster Movie (James Bond: Casino Royal).
This just goes to show everyone that Sony's arrogance of claiming they've won the format war is presumptuous and premature.
Just remember that Blu-Ray is up against not only HD-DVD but other High Def delivery models such as Xbox Live Video Marketplace and probably soon the Apple store. Read the Tea Leaves if you will...Netflix has Watch it now up and running and is reported to be one of the companys that will use Microsofts new SilverLight that allows for HD streaming unlike Flash which is the current most popular method of streaming video on the net (You Tube).
It could very well be that both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will be eclipsed by online delivery and IPTV even before they gain a substantial foothold.

As long as "everywhere" doesn't include Eurpoe where HD-DVD is winning.
