Free HD for one year to new AT&T DirecTV, Dish Network, or U-Verse subscribers
If you needed a reason to switch to any of AT&T's TV services, this could be it. Simply by signing up for Dish Network or DirecTV, or their U-Verse system, through AT&T, they will give you one year of HD service for free. That's it. Keep in mind though that you would be fueling a gigantic monoply but if it will save you some cash, go for it. You have up to May 31, '07 to sign up the Dish Network's offer, June 26, 2007 for DirecTV's and June 30th for the U-Verse deal.

Hasent HD on cable been free for some time now? We have never paid anything for HD with Cablevision, and thats the way it should be.

Not that great of deal really to go with Dish Network through AT&T. The first 10 months in the mail-in saving available even if you sign up outside of AT&T. Then you receieve $20 credit for the last 2 months. Still a lot more than I'm paying Time Warner and I still have to pay $5/month because I don't have a phone line to hook my stupid receiver up to.

I'm no fan of AT&T, but if you were to put together a list of companies that exist in the face of stiff competition I think AT&T would have to be well up on that list. They were a monopoly once, but those days are clearly gone.

Satellite doesn't work with the TiVo Series 3, so I'll pass.

I SIGNED UP FOR THIS PROMOTION BACK IN JANUARY. YOU HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH A LOT OF HOOPS, SIGN UP ON TWO DIFFERENT WEB SITES MAIL IN REBATES AND REGISTER FOR THE PROMOTIONS. I WAS SUPPOSE TO RECIEVE CREDITS THAT WOULD ADD UP TO WHAT WOULD EQUAL FREE SERVICE FOR A YEAR. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT HAVING THESE CREDITS I WAS TOLD NOTHING IS FREE. I AM VERY DISAPOINTED AND STILL DISPUTING WITH ATT. FUNNY THING IS THAT THEY CHARGE EARLY TERMINATION FEES IF YOU DO NOT KEEP FOR 24 MONTHS. ATT SERVES UP BAD DISH!!!!!!!!!!!
