I agree with the above, however this is one feature along with upscaling PSOne and PS2 games that I've been really anxious for for some time and was happy to see some news this week on both.

I'm enjoying my PS3 a little better than I was enjoying my 360 at this point in it's life cycle, anxious to see what the coming months offer.

Do not forget about upscaling some of the 720p PS3 games, we need a 720p/1080i/1080p upscaler for PS1, PS2, PS3, and DVDs.
