Yes, but for how long? With millions of HD-DVD owners coming this next year into 2008, how long will these "Blu-ray ONLY" studios decide to avoid possible sales of their content by not supporting HD-DVD?
ALSO, you forget about the overseas market for so-called "Blu-ray ONLY" titles, that are also being released to non-region HD-DVD discs [can be played in any player world-wide]. USA studios are allowing their overseas markets to release in HD-DVD, not just Blu-ray [which IS region-coded, another Blu-ray bummer].
Also, what is the big deal about LITE-ON's Blu-ray drive. I guess everyone missed the December announcement that LITE-ON will also produce HD-DVD burner drives, as well as low-cost stand-alone HD-DVD players.
But a low-cost stand-alone Blu-ray player? Oh yeah, that's right - THEY DON'T EXIST! Blu-ray is an overpriced system, mainly used for videogames like the PS3 and computer-storage.
Don't believe the lies. Blu-ray movie sales are in 2nd place to #1 HD-DVD, and have been since day one. Keep trying Blu-ray, but by this winter, the HD-DVD system will be the most popular high-definition disc format for sales, because of lower-costs and better quality... sorry Blu-ray early adopters.

If HD-DVD keeps out selling Blu-Ray, Disney may have no choice but to start releasing on HD-DVD or miss out on sales.
