I bet Jack Bauer could've saved the cheerleader.
Larry @ Jan 23rd 2007 9:29AM
Yeah, Jack would have saved her, but he would have to take her down five episodes later.

Here's a far more interesting question, how many people have invested in HD displays do not have any kind of DVR?
As for the "vs." part, no contest. Nothing in ANY medium is or continues to be more thought provoking as 24. The Bauer character continues to be put into positions that none of us ever have to face; just think for a moment about the choice of shooting one of your best friends or letting him eliminate a possible lead to what turns out to be 4 more nuclear bombs?
freemuffin @ Jan 23rd 2007 1:54PM
hell yeah he could have
Schumann @ Jan 23rd 2007 3:45PM
I feel like I'm the only person on Earth who would rather watch HGTV than Jack Bauer, so yesterday's choice was VERY easy - with Heroes (an original show, unlike 24, IMO) also on at the same time.
Of course, having 4 HD DVR tuners (in two devices) makes choosing all the easier, as I didn't 'watch' heroes, as much as record it ;) And no, I don't have a Season Pass on my S3 for 24 :p
