Panasonic DMP-BD10 Blu-ray Player firmware update

Another day another next gen format player firmware update, it wasn't last week that Sony released a update for their BDP-S1 and now it Panasonic's turn. Like the other players you can download the update and burn your own disc or order one from Panasonic. The details of the update are as clear as can be expected when a company must admit their mistakes, either way we welcome any updates we can get.
- Picture quality improvement via HDMI
- Enhanced playability and stability of Blu-ray discs
- Better response of chapter skip operations
- Support of the discs recorded on Panasonic AVC-HD Camcorders

Are you retarded? This wasnt to FIX anything! They are IMPROVING an already excellent player. Do not compare it to the hd-dvd side which has to issue updates so that movies can even be watchable. Thanks.

I dont know why youre taking so much offense over this article. Neither this article nor the one it linked to mention it fixing a problem but rather would suggest improvements instead.
Trying to shift the focus to HD DVD makes you sound like an angry Blu ray fanatic also since neither articles compared these updates to HD DVD.

If a Panasonic player can't play disc recorded from a Panasonic camcorder...that is a problem.
