Xbox rolls out 1080p / VGA fix
Everybody who had problems with the 1080p support on their Xbox 360 with the fall update rollout, we have good news. According to the Major, Microsoft is now rolling out updates for improved 1080p and VGA supports (as well as some performance fixes for wired headsets on wireless controllers). Get it while it's hot (i.e. log on to Xbox Live, let it do its thing).[Thanks, Manh]

Could anyone tell me if this fix will enable the Xbox 360 to use 1080p on the Dell 2407WFP?
Last I heard, It would only work in 720p.
Thanks,
-Baldwin
P.S. I won the TV.

How about 1080i VGA support for the millions of projection TVs that built prior to HD Component video be accepted in the market? Seems a little silly that they can introduce interlacing into 1080P Component video but not into 1080P RGB video.

Any chance that the 360 HD-DVD drive will at some point offer 1080p/24 output a la the PS3?
