Acctually the 600 dollar premuium package will come with the hdmi cables.

For all the boasting Sony's done about experiencing high-definition in 1080p resolutions, we're disappointed the company won't step up and include component cables (let alone HDMI) with PlayStation 3. So, to experience PS3's HD experience, not only do you have to purchase the machine, but additional cables, too, or risk being left behind.
sorry but i am not getting a PS3 right away until the price drops to at the most $400 to be fair since i am paid that much for the 360. Plus seeing how the IBM engineer saying that the Cell CPU has a 40% yield rate meaning 6 out of 10 CPUs don't work and if only 1 of those 6 CPU manages to find it's way into a PS3 you just spent $600 for a DOA machine so as the saying goes best things come to those who wait :-)
