Genk, you really dont know what you are talking about...
Blu-Ray is as much Sony format as it is to the othes companys in Blu-ray Disc Association http://www.blu-raydisc.com/

Also the HD DVD drive does not have HDMI http://www.engadgethd.com/2006/09/28/on-xbox-1080p-and-the-lack-of-hdmi/ and no HD gaming with it also. Its useless for movies and games. I wonder why they have made it first place!

Better update your data and stop spreading misinformation!
