I cringe each time you use this incorrectly. BUT... otherwise, a good piece of writing!

So then, what hdmi 1.2 receiver is quality at around $500?
JVC is out because of their recently exposed HDCP interoperability problems with tivo.
Is the panasonic sa-xr700 likely to be good, or should one stick with an analog receiver such as the denon avr-2307ci?
